History of Information Technology
The Department of IT at M.P. Bhoj (Open) University came into its existence in the year 1996, with a goal to fulfill the gap between industry and academia by providing students one of the best and updated curriculum and ensuring the seamless dissemination of technical practices among students.
The department caters to the youth of the state as per the contemporary need of the market by providing in-depth technical knowledge and opportunities for innovation and real life learning experience with state-of-the-art computer facilities to students. It provides the students with in-depth knowledge as well as hands-on experience, both of which are necessary for the IT industry's software design, development, and testing processes.
