Chairs (Shodh Peeths)

Research chairs play a vital role in the academic and research landscape of institutions like Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University (MPBOU). These chairs, often established in specific fields or disciplines, provide a platform for advanced research, knowledge creation, and academic excellence. The University has developed three research chairs

Gandhi Shodh Peeth - The thoughts, ideology and works of Mahatma Gandhi are disseminated through researches in the alignment  with Skill India, Vocal for Local , Atm nirbhar Bharat, Sustainable Agriculture, Small Scale cottage industry, Handicrafts and Rural Development .

Raja Bhoj Shodh Peeth – The University is planning to establish a dedicated Study center on Raja Bhoj ‘s Architechture, Vocal Science , Astrology ,music and  Yog. Policies and Philosophy and  research and comparative studies will be conducted.

Janjateeya Shodh Peeth – Research , awareness and activities on tribal traditions, tibal knowledge system ,   tribal medicines ,  food and  culture  will be conducted to promote and support tribal population  of the society.
